Gary Aris is a Christian Counselor who helps those struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, or relationship issues to help heal and resolve their matters in a Christ-centered way. Ministering since 2007, Gary Aris knows what it takes to get through the roughest patches in life. Whether dealing with grief or struggling in growth, he has seen many go from hopeless to hopeful.
Gary is the founder of Finally Alive Radio which aired every Saturday night at 9:30 PM on 99.5 KKLA. This is where he’d talk about counseling, theology, and life in great detail. His goal is to preach the gospel to all and help everyone unpack difficult circumstances, whether theological or not.
Gary is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor, Professional Clinical Member, Faith-integrated marriage and family counseling (non-clinical), and a Certified Temperament Counselor licensed by The National Christian Counselors Association. He is an Ordained Minister and preaches weekly. He has been awarded Thumbtack’s Best of Marriage and Family Counselors two years in a row. He’s been verified by the American Association of Christian Counselors, Psychology Today, and Theravive.
Gary holds a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Cornerstone University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and a Master’s Degree in Divinity (M. Div.) from Faith Bible Seminary also making the Dean’s List.
