What type of counseling is best for depression?

There are many reasons why a person becomes depressed, thus there are many ways that have been coping mechanisms developed to treat this. Some common therapy methods include talk therapy, which many psychologists use, or medication, which many psychiatrist’s use. We at Finally Alive Counseling Ministries believe that temperament therapy is the most effective way to deal with your depression.

Temperament therapy is going to look at the whole man and not just the problem or symptoms. When the whole person is healthy, the chances of illness, whether physical or mental, are extremely slim. This means that we will not just talk about feelings, but go to the deepest aspects of a persons mind, which will get us to the root of any emotional pain. There is hope!
